.My name is Katia Rose Alvera, sometimes people call me just plain Katia or Kat. I am 23 years old. I am a Native of Puerto Rico. Spanish is my first language although I haven't spoke it much in years. I am a strong Catholic and God is the center of my life. I am married to my best friend Julio. I am a mother of two. My first child Marissa Pagie died of SIDS in 2004. I miss her more then anything else in the world. My second child was just born this past year. Isabella Maria makes my heart whole. She is a blessing. Bella is a very easy going baby girl who brings us tons of joy. I am a cloth diapering mother and believe cloth is best for my child. I make most of my own cloth diapers. I also wear my baby in a sling or carrier and plan to do so till she no longer fits. I am a strong believer in nursing my child and I believe breast is best. I nurse my child and plan on weaning her no time soon. I am a nurses aid at a local hosptial. I work in peds. We live on a Army base in Wisconsin for the time being. My husband is a Army Specialist and just returned home from 6 months in Iraq. I am addicted to PSP and enjoy making layouts and graphics. I am an active scrapbooker and love to scrapbook in my spare time. I scrap almost everything . I am not too picky on who I will add at my journal. I mostly plan to write about my everyday life which can get kind of dull. I also will be posting photos of my daughter and family from time to time and my recent scrapbook pages.
